THE IMPORTANCE OF DEPTH(fishing tackle)
The importance of depth
When
we fished we consider many factors, but sometimes we overlook the
importance of controlling the depth in our fishing day. Knowing how high
we fish is very important to get more catch and learn to locate the
fish.
If we talk about depth we refer to the distance to which is
our bait, lure or deception perpendicular to the bottom surface.
Determine the exact distance will let us know if you really fished to
the correct measurement or we are dipping our deception(fishing shop).
Each
species has a way of behaving, eat and move. Focus on finding a
particular species or species will optimize time searching for your
position and get his capture. Although exceptions are common in our day
to day normally we can draw a pattern .
If we breakdown by
modalities, some more than others, we found a great influence on the
success in getting fish to a correct depth . If we use a cork or vane, a
small variation of barely 5 centimeters
(fishing lure)will help us or hurt us in the number of bites or their perception .
To
measure the depth of a mounting cork we can use probes or frogs that
will help us establish the desired distance. A frog is a lead mounted
clamp overload our assembly . This system is used once we have all our
finished rigging ie the buoy , along with his sinker and hook.
Pinzaremos the hook with our frog and overloading the cork will sink or
will horizontally according to the depth that we set. If the buoy sinks
means that our bait does not reach the bottom . If the cork is kept
horizontally is a sign that our bait is fully supported on the bottom(tackle
shop) .
At
the time of priming with groundbait , taking into account the depth it
is also key to not disperse our mass fish. Depending on the species and
the desired depth we have to get a texture and different density . If
we fished on the surface, our groundbait mix with a little water, with a
more earthy texture get to stay on the surface , but if we surpassed
with water, to be a texture more gruel, will also stay on the surface.
Having a texture more gum intermediate and heavy is the perfect balance
to send our groundbait in the background .
(fishing tackle shop)If we fish from beach we can play with distances and
angle line will generate our bottom with floats hook or "flotters" to
raise our bait from the bottom. In this mode , the key is to follow the
patterns we generate certain species. We also have to take into account
the perception of color varies depending on the depth and light
reflecting, we will see a color never equal to a depth or another.
Mainly the colors red, pink and purple are those normally lose their
real appreciation lesser depth , followed by orange and yellow . Finally
we have the green and blue, which will be those who perceive more
reality deeper .

Once
we know the depth, depending on the scenario and the species we want to
fish, we will adjust our gear to fish surface, midwater or on the
bottom .
Now it's go get more fish, wherever they are, no matter
how deep they are and very hidden to be made available at the end find
them!
Good luck and good fishing!
