We leave you some pictures of the I-IB forum that took place on October 3 at the Auditorium of the Parc Bit. The inauguration took part the Minister of Education, Culture and Universities, Mr. Rafael Bosch; the dean of the College of Chemists of the Balearic Islands, Dr. Enrique Gómez; President of the Association of Chemists of the Balearic Islands, Dr. Joan Frau; the director of the Department of Chemistry at the UIB, Dr. Josefa Donoso; President of the Social Council of the UIB, Dr. Fuster Felicià; and the rector of the UIB, Dr. Montserrat Casas. The event was attended by representatives of the PIMEM as well as members of the Board of the UIB.
This action arises that, although they have already UIB out more than 30 promotions of chemical professionals who contribute their professional work in the different productive and service to the development of the Islands sectors, has not done so today's date no forum where industry related to chemical and related companies, professional and college, which is, at this time, the main center for training, research and iinovación of the CAIB in this sector.(hl

New talks are in addition to the proposed CAB-IB Sample 2011. Dr. Javier Luzuriaga, physicist and one of the authors of the popular book The Physics of Musical Instruments, will present both this year designated as the International Year of chemically two talks which will tell the hard and productive way research tour of two pioneer of chemistry: Madame Curie (Nobel prize twice) and Madame Lavoisier (yes !, Lavoisier's wife!).(sl chemistry)
Thus, these two presentations are in addition to the experiments and videos that provide a space for interaction between the public and researchers (see TIMELINE ...). As always, visitors can enjoy, surprised, ask and answer about science and technology in a relaxed space for dialogue. brochures will be delivered with popular science content and programs contain a periodic table of the special elements on the back! .
